Therapies for physical, emotional and spiritual wellbeing.
Acupuncture and natural therapies may be of assistance with pain, stress and fatigue. In Chinese Medicine, emotional and physical strain, depletion from lifestyle factors, and scar tissue are all understood as things that can restrict flow. As we work with these, the aim is to support your body’s own capacity to settle.
Tanya practises gentle Japanese style needling, including shallow and non-insertion needling, combined with cupping, moxibustion, massage and Qi Gong hands-on energy techniques. Very little of it is what people expect acupuncture to feel like. The approach is matched to your physical, emotional and energetic needs on the day, in a room that is quiet and unhurried.
Tanya works across a broad range of presentations, with a particular interest in supporting women through the preconception period and pregnancy, alongside their medical care. She has trained in Mayan abdominal massage techniques, yoni steaming and Spinning Babies protocols.
